Lobo Tiggre Targets Uranium as Record Contract Prices Create Buying Chance
11/5/2026 · Kitco News

Lobo Tiggre of The Independent Speculator sold most gold and silver holdings early this year at much higher gold prices and has redirected cash into uranium, seeing a clear buying chance in the widening gap between rising contract prices and falling miner shares. Long-term uranium contracts hit a record $99 per pound while the Sprott Uranium Miners ETF dropped 52% from its January peak. He attributes the selloff to AI-related exits and early tax-loss selling rather than fundamentals.
